Native Arabian Doll and Horse Costume

This is a wonderful set to add to anyone’s collection! The horse costume is adjustable to fit Breyer, Stone and resin models. The colors are a beautiful navy blue, raspberry, silver, black and gray. The blanket and breast collar I cross stitched on a gray 32 count linen with a 2 over 2 count. This has a delightful combination of blue and silver filament, hand dyed floss, and many beads and tassels. The saddle tree is covered with a blue velvet and the stirrup leathers are blue with silver stirrups. The blanket is lined with blue velvet that reaches under the beads and tassels to form a lovely backdrop. The saddle is finished off with a Velcro cinch. The bridle is a bosal with a blue leather headstall that is decorated with beads and tassels and a beaded browband. The reins are twisted blue hand dyed floss with blue filament to create an mecate. And the Doll. She is wearing a outfit which compliments the horses costume. Her hat is velvet with crystal beads and silver thread wrapped around the brim. On the top is a feather and accented with beads. She’s wearing a black scarf that comes out from underneath the hat and wraps around her head and neck.
Her navy blue velvet robe is trimmed in silver which covers her raspberry colored pants and top, also trimmed with silver. The robe is split in back to show off the spider web beading on the horses rump. This set can be shown alone or hold it’s own without the doll. The clothes on this doll are non-removable.
