This fair maiden is
dressed in a beautiful black velvet gown. It is a form fitting design with a
sweeping train. The sleeves are made from a fine mesh of black and silver
metallic with black velvet cuffs. Her waist is accented with the same fabric as
her sleeves and the edges are trimmed with silver braid. The gown has a low "V"
Shaped neckline that has been accented with black sparkles. She is also wearing
a long cape that is attached on her shoulders where silver sparkles sit as
accents. Her hat is made of the same fabric as her dress and edged in black
sparkles. From the top of the hat ribbons flow down her back. She is wearing
black boots and black gloves. This is a soft skinned Brenda Breyer doll with new
blonde hair styled in a long braid that is highlight with a silver thread
braided into it.. I have customized this maiden to ride side saddle easier.
The matching horse costume is as beautiful as the fair maiden. The saddle is
a medieval style side saddle. Her stirrup is silver with silver leather, strap
and buckle. . The saddle sits on top of two blankets. The under blanket is black
velvet and the top one is black with silver sparkles all over it creating a
wonderful contrast. The breast collar is made of rectangular metal pieces that
really add to the setup. The bridle is silver leather with one buckle on the
left side. The nose chain is silver with a small silver ball on the center of
the chain. I have the chain attached in a way that makes it very easy to adjust.
There is a double rein bit with one pair of reins in silver leather and the
other pair in black ribbon.
