This is an Incredible setup! Designed to fit any Stone, Breyer or traditional Arabian resin horse model. The pictures
don't even start to show all the details that I have packed into this one. I got the inspiration for this piece from
Steve Diamond of the Diamond Equestrian Center. He was pictured on the cover of Arabian Horse world May 1999
in a costume much like this one!
This Knight is dressed in a wonderful black velvet robe, tied in the front, with gold
thread accenting the edges. Underneath his robe is a white shirt with black buttons and gold and black stitching. His
shirt is wrapped with a black rope as a sash. He is wearing black blousy pants that are tucked into knee high boots.
On his head he is wearing a traditional white headdress. Another special treat to this guy is that his mustache and
goatee are not painted on but are real hair.
The horse costume is made to match the knight. The saddle blanket and saddle are made of black velvet. The
saddle has a high front and back with beading on the edges. The front and back of the saddle are decorated with
fine gold glitter in a eye-catching pattern. The stirrups are silver and attached by stirrup straps made of twisted black
silk thread. The blanket has a cinch that Velcro's on and is edged in gold and accented with red and black stitching
and small gold and red beads. On the corners in the back of the blanket is a pattern made from fine gold glitter. The
tassels are in rows of three in the colors of gold, red, green and blue. These are made from hand dyed cotton yarn
to give them a rich, lively color. The breast plate copies the blankets design but it ties onto the horse. The bridle is
made from black suede leather that has been covered in gold glitter. The bit is silver and the bridle buckles on top of
the horses head. The reins are rope with black silk, gold cotton and gold metallic thread. This costume can be a
crowning glory to any Arabian model.
It is sure to catch the attention of many judges!
